1. We have chosen Pinterest as our network to create a virtual learning community.


3. Pinterest is a visual discovery engine, website, and app used for finding, saving, and organizing ideas through images, GIFs, and videos, often referred to as "Pins".


We chose this network because it is easy to use and it is a source of inspiration. 

You can create different boards and inside those boards you can create folders to be more specific and organized. The boards can be collaborative and this can impulse teamwork. It is also a great device to do brainstorming within a group to make everyone participative and contribute ideas. Members can also create collages, create new photos with elements from other posts...  


We also chose this network because it is very well known in our generation and a lot of people know how to use it as a very visual tool. It is a low stimulating network, perfect for creating ideas. Members can pin videos, articles, and pictures related to different topics. Each pin allows a short description and you can leave comments so you can use the comment section under each pin to ask questions.


4. I think virtual learning communities make it easier for people to learn from anywhere and connect with others. They can help students share ideas, work together, and learn at their own pace. But they tend to only work well if people actually participate and stay engaged.
